CELEBRATION FOR CONSERVATION EVENT

Visit the Indianapolis Zoo on Saturday, April 4 for games, prizes, mascots, music, photo ops and specialty food and drink as we crown the first ever Uproar Conservation Champion. Event runs 12-5pm with the winning species announced between 2-3pm. See below for details.

Event is free for Zoo members and is included with regular admission.

Noon: Event begins. Games include basketball, corn hole, bucket toss and more. Enjoy special animal encounters!

1-1:30pm: Meet Indiana Pacers’ Boomer and Indiana Fever’s Freddy Fever

1-2pm: Meet Indianapolis Indians’ Rowdie

1:30-3pm: Meet Indy Ignite’s Pepper

2-3pm: Live announcement of winning species, emceed by Kristi Lee & WTHR meteorologist Matt Standridge

3-4pm: Meet Indy Fuel’s Nitro and Fishers Freight’s Bandit

5pm: Zoo closes. Event concludes.
